Started in 2011 with the support of the Association for Community Organization and Social Administration (ACOSA), the mission of the Macro Social Work Student Network is to develop a geographically diverse network of and for macro-practice social work undergraduate and graduate students in order to:

  • Share and augment macro practice knowledge

  • Maintain self-awareness of macro practice as an essential method in the social work field

  • Share our work with the rest of the social work field

On the heels of our successful June 14th, 2013 event, "Macro in a Micro World: What the 2012 'Rothman Report' Means for Social Change Hopefulness", MSWSN is now expanding. To become involved in the coalition or to create a chapter of MSWSN within your social work program, fill out this Chapter Interest Form and you'll hear from us shortly!
